WHAT IS SANTACON?
SantaCon is an annual event where people dress as Santa Claus and spread holiday cheer while supporting charity.

WHAT IS SOUTH BRONX SANTACON HAPPY HOUR?
South Bronx SantaCon Happy Hour is a special event where you, as Santa, can spread holiday joy by donating $25 to support local charities. Your donation helps buy toys for underprivileged children in the South Bronx.

As a thank-you, you'll get a wristband that gives you 5 free Happy Hour drinks to enjoy during the SantaCon bar crawl at participating spots in Mott Haven & entry to the SBX Santacon Finale at Bricks & Hops!

Through their four core program initiatives, Economic Development, Education Preparation, Health + Wellness, & Youth Sports, the Willie and Aikisha Colon Foundation works to foster local growth and prosperity.

These programs underscore their dedication to the well-being of individuals and their collective community.

OYATE GROUP
Oyate Group is a nonprofit organization with the mission to alleviate poverty by a three-prong strategy: first to educate and inform, second to provide resources and services and lastly to create sustainable and holistic structures to empower underdeveloped communities.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Donate $25 to this year's charities & pick up your wristband the week of the event.
Dress up in red (Santa hat alone is not enough). That having been said, unusual interpretations of Santa-ness are often appreciated and christmas trees, elves, reindeer themes etc. are all good!
Address your fellow santas as "Santa."
BRING CASH and pay for refreshments as you go. Santa gets tired of waiting on other Santas to clear their tab before being able to move on.
Make sure to BRING CASH & always tip the good people who are serving you. We want to be able to do this again next year so be polite and cultivate the goodwill of the local community.
